On March 13, 2007, Tony Podesta and Bob Livingston announced the formation
of the PLM Group — a new joint venture between the Podesta Group and The
Livingston Group. The PLM Group brings together two of Washington's most
successful lobbying and public affairs practices to give clients access to
the entire spectrum of government relations, international affairs and
communications experts of both firms.
The PLM Group is headed by former Rep. Toby Moffett (D-CT), who for the last
six years has led The Livingston Group's international practice. He serves
as Chairman of the PLM Group and manages all business development
activities.
The Podesta Group and The Livingston Group continue to retain their own
separate practices and personnel.
